It is clear from the maps that the most significant change that happened in this area was the construction of a stadium. Additionally, houses and woodland had completely disappeared by 2005. In 1980, there were many trees around the city, especially around the lake. In the southwest corner of the city, there was an airport with a parking area. The hospital was placed in the north bank of the river, across from the hospital. At the same time, a lot of people lived close to the coast. From 1980 to 2005, the railway was dramatically extended, and a harbor named Marina was built. Modern constructions, such as skyscrapers, appeared. Most of the trees were cut down to make way for new factories. Meanwhile, the hospital and the school remained quite close to the river Alanah.
