The pair of maps illustrate the pre and post development of Stokeford town. Overall, we can clearly see that many things have altered in Stokeford village in 80 years. The only two things which have remained unaltered are the bridge and the post office. To initiate from the north west direction in 1930 near to the bridge there used to be a farmland for cattle which has completely gasp away from the map by the year 2010. We can also witness a change in terms of house, at the same place near to the farmland in 1930 there were not many houses available but by these 80 years we can see abundance of houses. Moreover, from the eastern side of the town there is a primary school which used to be quite dwarf in the beginning but with some alteration by the year 2010 it has become quite spacious. Near to the school there was a garden located in the village which later disappeared and in place of the garden, retirement home has constructed. Coming towards the western side, shops have come into the picture of Stockford village
