The two maps illustrate the main changes which have taken place in the town of Kimsville between the year 2002 and today. Overall, it appears that Kimsville used to be very green with lots of trees, but today it has become much more industrial with new apartments, facilities, and a software company. First of all, one area which has seen big improvements is the west of the city. The area used to be full of trees. However, the trees have been chopped down to make way for new apartments in the north and football stadium in the south. In addition, a new train station has been constructed between them. An interesting development has been the replacement of the factory by a software company. Also, there has been an expansion of the shopping center which is in the north of the city center. Another change is that in 2002 there was an old cinema in the south of the city, but it has become a pub in recent years.
