The maps below show Colwick Arts Area in 2005 and today.

The two maps depict several changes between 2005 and now at Colwick Arts Center. Overall, during this time period the new accommodations and recreation facilities were constructed. In the past, in the Colwick Arts area was not any trees. However, today trees were planted, area was greened and outdoor exhibition and performance occupation were located opposite to the stage. The center used to have two galleries, while at the present point there only one huge gallery. Furthermore, in the center were created two meeting rooms at the left-hand corner. In addition to this, the drama studio did not used to be at the previous period, whereas after sixteen years concert hall was replaced by cinema and drama studio. In 2005, the toilet used to be at this left bottom corner, on the contrary it was transformed into café. Additionally, the new one opened at right lower corner and created smaller than recent one. Moreover, at the middle of the map, the central exhibition developed and information desk constricted behind it. From what has been discussed above should be drawn a conclusion, that at the given turn period this place was established and a number of buildings were expanded, while others got smaller at the size. Finally, it seems like a beneficial shift with meaningful aspects to this center.
