Presented are the pictures illustrating the development of the village of Kelsbey from 1780 to 2000. Overall, it is witnessed that the village underwent a number of dramatic changes. To be more specific, more houses and roads were constructed; a bridge, shops, sports field, wetland for birds and school appeared while farms and woods disappeared during the given period. Between 1780 and 1860, it is remarkable that more 100 houses were built in the village along with the appearances of a bridge and roads. Conversely, the half number of farms in total four were knocked down and the similar change could be seen in woods when the figure for them were chopped down significantly. In the subsequent 140 years, people continued to construct more homes and roads whereas the woods and farms were cut down and knocked down completely. However, there were several new places appeared including shops along the river; schools, sports field opposite houses, roads and wetland for birds opposite the shops.
