Given is a map illustrating a comparison of today's Islip town center with a proposed development plan. It is evident from the information supplied that the city will be changed significantly from a small area to a large modernized city. As shown by the present figure, the town is beside the countryside, and several shops alongside the only main road can be seen. Regarding the future plan, it can be seen that the town will expand and the countryside will disappear. Moreover, the main road will replace by pavement for pedestrians. Meanwhile, a huge shopping center among a bus station and parking space will be constructed in the north of the pavement. Due to population increase, new buildings will be built in both north-east and south-east of the Islip. Furthermore, the school will be larger, and on the other hand, the park will be smaller. Also noteworthy is that residents traveling will be better on the grounds of the construction of a new dual carriageway around the city.
