The given pie charts depict the expenses done by the citizens of some major continents towards the essential and non-essential services and also the percentage of resources consumed by them. The data is calibrated in percentages. Overall, it is evident that people are spending more on non-essential commodities with the maximum population coming from the continent of Asia. Also, the resource consumption is done majorly by the citizens of the United States of America and Europe. The information shows that around 6% of total expenditure is done on clothing while people are spending around 12 percent of their income on housing expenditure. The individuals are spending just below one-fourth of their money on food whereas, around 18% of the income is spent on the source of commutation. Apart from the basic essential services individuals are allocating almost 40 percent of their income to non-essential commodities. When we come to population more than half of the world's population reside in the continent of Asia which is around 57 percent. The continent of Europe and America together acquire more than one-fourth of the total population whereas, the continent of Africa comprises of 10% the population.
