The line graph illustrates data regarding the amount of food which was eaten by youth in Australia over a twenty-five-year period from 1975 to 2000. In general, what stands out from the graph is that there were considerable upward trends in the amount of intake of hamburger and pizza, while fish and chips witnessed the opposite trend. Another interesting point is that fish and chips were the most popular fast food in 1975, however, by 2000 hamburgers were more commonly chosen. In 1975, the frequency of consumption of hamburgers and pizza were around 10 times only, compared to fish and chips that were purchased 100 times. The popularity of hamburgers and pizza increased over period and hamburgers outnumbered fish and chips in 1985, which were facing a downward trend. The tendency was stable until 2000. Hamburgers reached its peak at 100, which meant it was the most popular means of fast food at the end, and pizzas reached plateau at approximately 90 and occupied the second place. As for fish and chips, it became the least popular type of fast food and ended at just under 40 in 2000.
