Looking at the chart more closely, one can see that the burglary’s figure hit a peak at roughly 3800 in 2004, before experiencing a gradual drop to about 1200 incidents in 2008. The number of crimes leveled off in the next four years, which was almost 1500 incidents. Regarding car theft, the proportion started at approximately 2800, followed by a tedious trend in the next 2 years. The number fell to just above 2000 incidents one year later. There was a steady growth throughout the next 6-year-period with around 2700 crimes in 2012. In addition, the chart also shows that robbery experienced a mild trend between 2003 and 2012, with the figure ranged from 500 to approximately 900 incidents each year.
