The line graph compares three countries in terms of regional household recycling rates from 2005 to 2015. Overall, the three countries experienced various trends in the time of the period. While the household recycling percentage in UK and Germany were an upward trend, the percentage in France was a downward trend. As the graph shows, UK recycling rates started at around 35% in 2005, followed by a small increase to about 40% in 2007 and remained steadily until 2009. From 2010 to 2015, the proportion of recycled waste in the UK witnessed a significant rise from approximately 45% to 60%. On the other hand, Germany's rate was less than the UK in 2005 about 15%, This figure slightly increased around 25% in 2007. After increasing sharply from 2010 until 2013, Finally, the percentage of Germany was just over 58% in 2015. In contrast, the rate from France experienced a decrease in the nine-year period. In 2005, nearly 50% was recycled. Then it declined steadily until it fell to just over 32% in 2011 and climbed sharply from 30% in 2013 to 40% in 2015.
