The graphs show the differences in urban and rural populations and give details about the urban population in 3 areas and in world. Overall, the graphs describe that in in beginning the the populations of North America likes the most to live in urban area whereas the people of Africa, Asia and rest of the world tends to live in rural areas. But, in the given span of years people are more inclined towards living in urban areas. In the 1950s, a large part of North America nearly 65 % is living in urban areas and it increased significantly in given period. Nearly 20 % of Asian population used to live in urban areas in the beginning which then increased more than 60 %. The overall 30 % of world population used to live in urban areas which furthermore has a spike of nearly 55 %. Thus, to sum up from above graphs nearly the urban population increased from 500 millions to nearly 6200 millions and rural population reached from 1800 millions to 3000 millions.
