The charts indicate how many men and women who were employed in six different sectors across the Republic of Freedonia in 1975 and 1995. Overall, it is clear from the charts that the proportion of employment rate in male was greater than in female for every business sector during 1975, while these proportions were changed in 1995. There was lower male employment rate in communication and wholesale & retail trade businesses than female. In 1975, the majority of male worked in non-defence public sector over 800, 000 employees follows by wholesale & retail trade and manufacturing sector with about 700, 000 employees. Only around 200, 000 male employees worked for defence public sector. This is the same with female employment rate. More than half of female workers worked in non-defence public sector and wholesale & retail trade, whereas just under 100, 000 female workers were in defence public sector. However, the structure of employment rate for both men and women had changed in the year 1995. Approximately 800, 000 women worked in wholesale & retail trade compare to 700, 000 men workers. The rate of employment in women for communications business also made up a significant proportion with nearly 600, 000 people. Meanwhile, there were only 300, 000 men in the same business and almost the same numbers of men and women employment rate in finance/ banking business.
