The line charts show how many foreign students and local students registered in Australia universities between 2001 and 2010. Overall, it is clear from the chart that the number of local students was grater than foreign students in term of both reisteration and graduation. However, the proportion of foreign graduated students was increased while the local was remain constant. In 2001, the total of students who was Australian was at 400, 000 whereas the total of students who came from other countries was only 20, 000 but this figures kept growing every year until 2010 it reached to more that 80, 000. In contrast, the figures of local students gradually raise but reached it peak since 2007 and steady at that level. Local students who graduated in 2001 was just under 200, 000 and the rate of this group of student was stable at this level. On the other hands, the amount of foreign students who graduted starting at around 15, 000 but it was increased every year. In 2010, there were over 40, 000 graduated students who came from aboard.
