The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period. mA7O
The line graphs ilustrate the number of foreign and domestic students that has engaged in Australian universities between the year 2001 and 2010. Overall, there is a gradual increment in the enrolment involving overseas students in that ten years period, whereas the trend among the local students have showed the same increament before the pattern becames flat for the last three years in the given timeframe. In regard to foreign students' enrolment, there small diferences between the number of total and commencing students. However, a slight decreament which is roughly less than 10% can be observed in the the year 2010. On the other hand, the enrolment progress among the local students on the same comparison point as the above paragraph does not seems to be in a positive trends. Eventhough the number of total local students has been increasing steadily from the year 2001 to 2007, however, we can see a significant drop in the pattern of commencing students less than 30000 starting from the year 2002.
