The line graph give this information about the number of transported goods in the UK by four different types of transportation, in a period of 28years, starting from 1974. Overall it's clear that does the amount of goods which is transported by trucks, water and pipeline increased slightly while the figure for rail stood steady. Another not worth the fact is that the most popular transport mode was road. Looking at the graph in a more detailed way at the beginning of the period the number of goods which were transported by road was 70 million, it was 1. 5 times as many as rail and water transportation. In the following years the rate for water and pipeline which their peak 58 and 18 millions respectively whilst is the amount of transported good by road and rail faced a slight decrease. In the next 10 years the amount of things transported by car and ship rose slightly, sorry for railway declined from 40 to 38 million tons. often decreasing slightly almost went up year by year. By 2002, the rate for all modes of transport had reached their peak, the rate for car and ship 98 and 33 respectively.
