The given maps illustrate a number of changes of a town named Darwin from 2009 to 2014. It is crystal clear that the waterfront had some significant changes including numerous constructions as well as some development which is environmentally-friendly. In 2009, there was a footpath surrounding a lake located in the industrial area. from the north-west corner to the south around that industrial area clockwise, a school, a convention center, two swimming pools and three residential buildings were built while there were three trees planted between the lake and the building area. In addition, at the top left corner of the map, a fishing area was located. By 2014, there was a dramatic change in this town. Another footpath had been built across the industrial area which led to a harbour built on the sea. In addition, three more buildings had been situated in the same place as before while a university building had been added next to the building area.
