What is given in the graph is the data about the amount of oil discovered in the world in the period of 50 years between 1950 to 2020. It is obvious that the highest amount of oil was found in 1965. In contrast, the year 2020 had the lowest volume of oil. The amount of oil explored from 1950 to 1965 witnessed a sharp increase, however, it fluctuated wildly and the trend was downward throughout the rest of the period. In the first 5 years, there was a slight increase from 20 to nearly 30 billion barrels per year in the amount of oil.
