The diagram displays an information on steps involved in making sugar using sugar cane. Overral, there are six different tools used in making sugar and seven distinct stages starting from growing site and ending with drying and cooling bin. At the beginning of the process, sugar canes are been grown for 12 to 18 months to mature fully, then harvesting is done either by combine harvester or manually. After harvesting, they are put in a crushing machine to squize the juice out into a receiver. Following that, the juice is then passed through a purifier with limestone filter for filtration and purification. The juice is then exposed to heat in an evaporator to convert it into syrup. Lastly, centrifugal force is applied using the centrifuge to separate the crystals from the syrup. When the particles are removed, the syrup is finally converted into sugar by drying and cooling bin.
