The given column graph illustrates the three different methods used for waste disposal in European country from 2005 to 2008. In 2005, almost 2000 million tonnes of waste was disposed by landfill method; while, this method lost it's popularity. Approximetly 1600 million tonnes waste was disposed through landfill method in 2006. In contrast, only 1200 million tonnes of waste disposed by this method. About 900 million tonnes of waste disposed via buring process and 1200 millin tonnes of waste dumped into sea. In 2006, landfill mathod was most popular, but less amount of waste was dispoed by this method. However, dumping in sea method gained popularity. Around 1450 million tonnes of waste was dispoed by this method. In 2008, just over 1600 millin tonnes of waste was dumped into sea; whereas, only 900 million tonnes of litter dispoed by buring method. Overall, it can be seen that landfill method lost it's popularity; while, dumping in sea method gained popularity over the given period of time between 2005 and 2008.
