The graph provides the information regarding the investment made by UK in clean energy namely wind, solar and energy smart technology between 2008 to 2015. Overall, the funding of renewable energy increased significantly over the years and the amount spend on wind was highest in proportion to other energy. As is signified in the illustration, about 2 billion is funded for wind and 1 billion on energy smart technologies and other energy. Next year, the investment soared tremendously on wind energy however with the introduction of solar energy in 2010, the investment portion for wind declined in 2011. While the investment on solar energy and energy smart technologies remained consistent over the years, the funding on wind energy started to climb slowly from 2 billion to 10 billion in tenure of 8 years.
