The line graph gives information about residential cost in the 4 different Massachusetts towns from 1988 to 2002. The figures are given in thousands of dollars. Overall, It can be seen that the price of houses are upward over the period. Looking first at the figures which increased rapidly, Cambridge had the highest house cost that started at about 200 in 1988 and rose slightly by 230 in 1989. After that, there was a period of fluctuation between 1991 and 1994. The prices rose dramatically from 1995 to 2000 before hitting the highest point of around 580 in 2001. In addition, the house prices in Duxbury started at 220 in 1988 and fluctuated from 1989 to 1995. There was a significant growth between 1995 and 2000 before reaching a peak of roughly 420 in 2000. However, The house prices decreased moderately to about 350 in 2002. Moving to the downward figures that rose slowly, The cost of houses in Framingham started at 190 in 1988. After that, there was a slight decline to about 160 from 1989 to 1992 and remained unchanged until 1995. The figure slowly climbed between 1996 and 2000 before hitting a peak of over 250 in 2001. Although, in 2001 there was a slow drop to about 240. Likewise, Milford’s house costs started at 180 in 1988. Then, the figure decreased slightly from 170 to just 140 between 1989 and 1992. There was a gradual increase from 130 to over 220 between 1993 and 2000 and hitting a peak of just over 240 in 2001. However, The cost slowly fell by 230 in 2002.
