The graph shows the steps for getting medical license by completing the education from scratch and their pre-requisite. As we can see, the process of becoming doctor had involved many process and yet it takes minimum of 10 years to maximum of 14 years of time to become a doctor. While at first, after completing your Higher secondary school(HSC 12th), one must need to complete the bachelor’s degree of four years, after that you will be eligible to take admission in medical school in which you will spent 4 years learning many basic things in medical department, in the last year of medical school there will be a placement in which you will get a internship of 3-7 years at some hospital, on a successful completion of that, one gets eligible to appear in exams for getting medical license directly, but if someone, wants to get specialized expertise, they need to must opt-in for a fellowship which will be a duration between 1-3 years which is yet optional, after passing the exam successfully you will get medical license in your hand.
