The given map illustrates the information about the changes occurred to a town called Lynnfield between 1936 and 2007. To begin with, it is worth noticing that although in 1936, there were few trees in the north west along with a river in north east, by 2007, the number of trees had declined and the land around the river became a residential area. Similarly, in the southwest of the town, a cycling path was turned into a road for auto vehicles and on the opposite side of the map a museum and golf course replaced government offices and farm land respectively. In terms of the center of the town the shopping center has been established right there in 2007 while it was just a vacant space in 1936. Likewise, there was a post office, sweet shop and butchers in single lane while supermarket was constructed in place of sweet shop and butchers and post office remained same in 2007. In addition, it is clearly seen that even though at the bottom of Lynnfield’s center, the bank and the library were still remain unchanged over the period, the flower shop in 1936 has demolished to make the travel agent in the same location during 2007. To cite an overview, it is clearly evident that albeit only few places stayed same in the centre of Lynnfield town, lot of new amenities has been installed there during the given period.
