The given graph provides information about how many people went to four eateries from 1990 to 2015. Overall, it is clear that there were dramatic differences in the popularity of the restaurants. While the two top ones in 1990, Pizza Hut and Chick Spot, experienced a decline in customers over the period, Burger Bar and Donut Bro saw significant rises. In 1990, 8000 people ate at Pizza Hut, which was 2000 more than the figure for Chicken Spot. Donut Bro only had 2500 customers that year and Burger Bar had even fewer, with just over 1000. These two lowest-performing restaurants saw little change over the next five years before a significant rise from 1995 to 2005 when they had 6000 and 3000 customers respectively. The growth continued until, by 2015, Donut Bro had by far the most customers (8000) out of the four, and Burger Bar just under 4000. In contrast, from 1990 onwards, Pizza Hut saw a steady drop in customers. Although there was a slight rise in 2010, the figure had fallen by 3000 in 2015 when only 5000 people visited. Meanwhile, despite increasing from 6000 in 1990 to 7000 in the year 2000, Chicken Spot also experienced a considerable decline in customer numbers. Its figure plummeted to under 3000 in 2015, making it the least popular venue.

It is astonishing how much enjoyment one can get out of a language that one understands imperfectly.
