The given bar graph illustrates the transition happened in the cost of housing properties in five cities namely Tokyo, New York Madrid, Frankfurt and London between the year 1990 and 2002 in comparison with the rate of 1989.
Overall, it can be evident that at the end of the period all the four cities expect Tokyo showed an upward trend in the charge of house as well as, London showed a dramatic rise during the stipulated period.
As per the first graph, in 1990 to 1995 Tokyo New York and London showed a drop around 0. 5 % to 7% of housing prices comparing to 1989. Whereas, Madrid and Frankfurt showed a climb in the cost of housing which was around 2% and 3% respectively.
As per the second graph, during the period of 1996 to 2002 the rate of house in New York and Madrid increased about 0. 5 %. Interestingly London marked the highest rate about 12% which was 10 times greater than Frankfurt and Tokyo showed a slight decrease of 0. 2 % compared to the first period.
