The given vertical bar graph depicts the percentage of different ages of students that whether they are studying for interest or career. Overall, most peers who are under 26 study for their career whereas interest is the main reason behind peers above 49 years of age. It is evident that 80% of pupils study due to career while only 10% study for interest. Students belonging to the age group of 26-29 have a huge difference between the studying reasons of approximately 60% being 70% and nearly 10% for career and interest respectively. Students who study for growth witnesses a fall of around 10% in the age group of 30-39. However, students studying for interest have risen by 10%. Shifting attention towards remaining age groups, it can be seen that proportion of students whose main reason for studying is career and interest is equal by 40% in the age group of 40-49. Approximately 20% of students study for interest who are above the age of 49 and 70% students study for career prospectus.
