The main parts of fire extinguisher and the methodology of its functioning are illustrated in the diagram.
At firs glance it can be clearly seen that, the fire extinguisher has eight parts(a pin, n, a valve, a cartridge of gas, a siphon tube, a water container, a lever and a rod).
Initially, the pin should be pulled out which activates the whole system. Next as the lever is pushed down rod open valve, consequently gas is released into the container. Subsequently, water forced up through the siphon tube, followed by water is thrown toward the source of the fire through the nuzzle to make fire extinguish. Finally, if the lever is released, the rod will retreat to the first position and close valve, consequently, the releasing of gas is stopped.
Overall, the fire extinguisher has a simple mechanism which contain eight parts and start working by pushing down lever after removing pin, and the function will be inhibited if lever is released.
