The diagrams below show how coffee beans are processed. ee3oA
This diagram demonstrates the process of coffee production. It is clear that there are several steps to go from the fruits of the coffee plant to a cup of coffee that can be consumed at home. First, the fresh cherries from the coffee plant are harvested when they are ripe enough to make coffee. Then, the harvested fruits are passed through the pulping machine to separate the skins and the pulps of the coffee beans. After being passed in the depulper, the beans are transported into the large, water-filled fermenting tanks for one or three days. Next, the depulped and fermented beans are being dried on the ground. Following this, the dried coffee beans are passed into the hand-sorting process to be reviewed flaws or other imperfections. When they are finished sorting, they are roasted to make the green coffee beans into brown ones. Afterwards, the roasted coffee beans are put into the grinding machine. Once they are grinded, the coffee is packaged and delivered to the grocery stores and supermarkets where customers can buy it. Finally, the coffee bought from the stores can be brewed in the coffee machine.
