The diagrams below give ìnormation about tưo roá tunnels in one Australian city. PEmO2
The provided diagrams illustrate the layout of two road tunnels in an Australian city. Overall, it is obvious that tunnel A was installed earlier and its size is smaller and shorter than tunnel B. Additionally, they both have twin tubes crossing sections of the tunnel. To be specific, Tunnel A was constructed slightly shorter in depth, with 25 meters width and 2, 2 kilometers long, than Tunnel B with 35 meters width and 3. 5 kilometers long. Furthermore, there is a layer of stone and sand set up to separate the river and the road in Tunnel A, whilst the road was erected across Tunnel B from start to end point. Started in 1987, it tooks Tunnel A 5 years to be finished, while Tunnel B was introduced shorter than 2 years, from 2004 to 2007. Nonetheless, Tunnel A only needs 55 million dollars to be completed, whereas the total amount of money of Tunnel B is much more roughly a half, at 1, 1 billion dollars. another striking difference is that there are only two lanes of each tube in Tunnel A, yet Tunnel B can hold up to three lanes of each.
