The picture provides information about the different stages of silkworm life Overall, there are four main stages in the process of silkworm development, beginning with eggs are laied on a leaf and ending with an adult moth. At first stage, a female moth give birth an eggs on the leaf. After 10 days, eggs convert to silkworm larva and eating mulberry leaf for survival purpose. These larva make a silk thread at the third stage for 4-6 weeks from larva stage. Before being an adult moth, they spend at least 3-6 days to become cocoon. In the final stage, cocoon is fully adult after 16 days and is ready to mate. The cycle will then continue again.
