The illustrations depict the transformation in the layout of a student common room over the past five years. Overall, this room has undergone significant renovation as more facilities and amenities were added, providing a more convenient and comfortable environment for the student. At the uppermost area of the room are a row of domestic appliances. In the past, this involved a sink, a cupboard, two benches, a microwave, a refrigerator arranged respectively from left to right. They have remained practically intact till today, with the exception of the second bench as it was replaced by another microwave. A new drink machine was installed at the back of the room, near the refrigerator. In the bottom right corner, a television was furnished as well as three armchairs facing toward the TV.
