The diagram presents the manufacturing process of carbonated drinks. It can be seen that the whole process involves five different stages of making drinks which accounts for treating raw water with chemicals and colours and production of ready-to-drink bottles.
Firstly, raw water is filtered and treated with softener and chemicals to achieve the desired water. After the water cleaning process is completed, it is then pumped into electric heaters and at the same time into cooling pipe. Having cooled off for a certain time, carbon dioxide is then added into the water. Afterwards, the carbonated liquid is mixed with colours, syrup and different flavours in a mixing tank and then filtered again before filling into bottles and cans. Finally, packing stage is started off soon after filling the carbonated drinks into the bottles. Having being ready for sale as ready-made drinks from the factory, they are then delivered to the supermarkets and chainstores
