the diagram below shows some principles of house design for an energy efficient house and how they work in different climates aEMGw
The provided diagram delineates the rudimental functioning of an energy-efficient house in warm and cold climates, simultaneously. Looking from an overall perspective, it is apparent that the major intention of constructing this building is to insulate the house so as to prevent the heat from entering during the high- temperature period and coming out in the colder weather. The upper part of this building is covered by a reflective roof which is capable of radiating the sunbeams, therefore, it has the ability to preclude the house including the top floor and the floor situated below the ground level from the absorption of the heat and the upsurge in temperature inside the house in warm climates. Conversely, during the winter, when the temperature drops, on the surface of this roof, a triple-glazed skylight is constructed intensifying the light as well as the temperature in the inner part of the building. Besides, with the aim of boosting the effect of the heat generating process in the house, the interior is overlaid with a special type of material which allows blocking the heat inside, which is then stored in the underground floor.
