The flow chart illustrates how geothermal energy is utilized to create electricity. As is observed, there are five steps to produce electricity, starting by pumping down the water and end up with the electricity in the last. It is revealed that the cold water from the surface will be pumped down 4. 5 km to the injection well. After that, the water is moved to the geothermal zone and processed by the hot rocks inside the earth. Once the second process is done, the hot water leaves the geothermal area to the production well. After passing the production well, the hot liquid is pumped up to the surface of the earth and transferred to the condenser. As the heated water moved to the condenser, the water is then powered by steam in the turbine spinning around. The last step is the steam will be processed in a generator to produce electricity. The electricity is finally created and sent to the electric grids.
