The diagram below shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.

The diagram illustrates the stages of making and transporting ethanol. In order to make ethanol, corn must undergo with variety of processes including storing, milling, separating, fermenting, cooking and purifying. To begin with, corn should harvest by the farmers and in the second process corns are stored. Next, corn have been milled by using milling machine. In the next stage, water is marinated with the corn powder and the pulp is cooked for 4 hours. Subsequently, the cooked corn powder has been fermented. Following this, the fermented corn is separated in to two portions such as solid products and liquid ethanol. In the next stage, the liquid ethanol is purified for 5 hours. A storage is used in order to store the purified ethanol, up to standard level. In the final stage of whole process, the stored ethanol is exported from the storages and the transport systems are used to carry them in to the markets.
