In general, the water in the ocean and on land evaporate into the air and forming clouds. After several processes occurred, the groundwater from the impervious layer of land come back to the ocean and wait for the next water cycle. Firstly, the body mass of water in the ocean that contributes about 80% of total water vapour in the air evaporates because of the sun’s heat and condenses at a particular height into clouds. Subsequently, because of air pressure, the clouds are moving to the area above the land. After the clouds piled up and got saturated, the process of precipitation happened, causing the water in the clouds to pouring down to earth in the form of rain. Afterwards, the rain would fall into various places on earth such as lakes, rivers, and landmasses. All of these places have their own way of flowing the water to the lower ground level. Lakes and rivers have channels to run the water while the water dropped on landmass would penetrate right into the soil and any excess water will trigger a surface runoff. Ultimately, these canals lead to the lowest ground level which is an ocean.
