The line chart compares data about a number of average carbon dioxide was emitted by each inhabitant in four different countries from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, although the quantities of Italy and Portugal people sent out the emissions recording the lowest numbers in first year, they were rose rapidly after four decades later. In addition, two remaining countries witnessed the significant decline in the same period.
To begin with, in 1967, there was only one tons CO2 to send out to the environment by each person in Portugal. This number was gone up remarkably till 1997, equal to around four times before and it slightly grew to over 5. 5 tons in the last decade. Similarly, the number of CO2 emissions recorded in Italy was located in third position at the list with just over four tons in 1967. But after four-decade period, it climbed up strikingly and overtook Sweden’s number in the 1990s, it ended up at around 7. 8 tons in 2007.
With regard to UK which had the number of CO2 sending out to the air at the top of the list with nearly 11 tons, although this emissions were gone down substaintially throught 40 years mentioned, it still stayed the first rank, nearly nine tons. Besides that, in 1967, Sweden had the some number as UK in the last year and it had a steeply increase in first ten years. After 30 years later, it can see that this number felt down considerablt to around five tons in 2007, having the same position with Portugal that was emitted the lowest CO2 in four decades given.
