Overall, it can be seen that majority of area is covered by Asia whereas the proportion is less for Anatarctic and Oceania. Further, Asia has more population as compared to Antarctica which has no human population. With regards to Area, the percentage of land taken by Asia accounts for one third of the total area. In comparison the figures of Antarctica, Europe and Iceania which falls between the range 9%, 7%, and 6% respectively. 20% of land is covered by Africa, followed by North America at 16% and south America at 12%. Turning to the population, Asia has far more population that of other countries, making up 58%. The proportion of population in Europe stands at 16%, for Africa at 11% and North America at 9%.
