The chart illustrates the percentage of the different systems of transport used by British, German, Japanese, Korean and Australian tourists in New Zealand during the year 2004. Overall, the car is the most common mean of transport, all over 52. 5%, except for Korean tourists, who prefer to use a couch instead of a car. However, the car is the second preferred by those. British people have the highest percentage, 70%, of car use, which is relevant compared to that of Korean one that is above 50%. Interestingly, the percentage of air transports is almost the same for Germany, Japan and Korea, 17. 5%. The second favourite mean of transport is the coach for people from all countries, except for those from Korea. The most various is ferry: Japanese people have the highest one, almost 52. 5%, whereas British has the lowest one, almost 17. 5%.
