In 2003, about 80% of people aged 16-24 utilised the internet, whereas the figure for the oldest group was 0%. Within the given period, the former increased significantly to 100% in 2005 but later dropped back to approximately 90% in 2006. Meanwhile, despite a negligible decline in 2005 to roughly 15%, the latter recovered to 20% in the last year.
Surprisingly, the figures for 25-44 and 45-64 age groups experienced the similar pattern. About 50% of adults age 25-64 used internet in 2003, compared to 60% of the olders. After 3 years, both these figures grew dramatically and peaked at 80% each.
