The diagram provides information about how rainwater is converted in order to use as drinking water in Australian town. Overall, it’s clear that rainwater collected from houses can be used for drinking water after it has been processing with chemicals. Initially, the rain which falls on the rooftop is collected by gutter and then runs away throughout pipe at the side of the house into drain at the bottom. Each house collects rainwater and then passed along underground drains to the water filter. The rainwaters pass throughout from water filter to remove any impurities. Once it has been filtered and it continues along the pipe to storage. The rainwater goes to from storage to water treatment. At this stage of the process, rainwater is treated with chemicals in order to make it fit for consumption. When rainwater is ready for use, it travels along pipes that lead back into the houses in the town where people can be uses for daily consumption.
