Overall, Skilled trades has the highest number of Men employment while the opposite is true for Personal service. It is also clear that Administrative and secretarial was the most popular job for Women. As can be seen, the most common occupation for men is Skilled trades with the figure of 20% compared to 2% for women, which is also the lowest figure in the chart. Just falling behind is the Managers and Senior official with around 17% of men involved. Moreover, the disparity between the amount of workers by genders in Professional, Associate professional and technical and Elementary is insignificant, with all figures depicted above 15 %. The highest women proportion of occupation in the UK in 2005 went to Administrative and secretarial, which was above 20%, opposites with 5% of that for men. Personal service recorded a dominant in the number of women with around 15% compared to only more than 2 % of men. The similar pattern was also witnessed In Sale and Customer service for men and women employment, with the figure of 5% and above 10% respectively.
