The chart illustrates the percentage of urban population in whole world and some continent in 1950, 2000 and also shows the prediction in 2050. About 40 percent of people who lived in Latin America lived in towns in 1950. This number increased sharply in 2000 and experts are predicting in 2050, Latin American going to live twice more than 1950 in cities. However, the number of urban population in 1950 in the Africa and Asia was just over a quarter of Latin America at the same time. Like Latin America, the persons who lived in the cities growth dramatically in Africa and Asia and prediction shows us that growing will continue and urban population will be 51 percent and 57 percent respectively. In the whole worlds, more or less, things like the other three areas. In 1950 only 30% of people lived in urban areas. This number reached to 50% in 2000 and prediction says that towns population will about 60% in 2050. To sum up, we can see in all of these charts people who live in towns has been growth significantly and little of people will lived in rural areas in 2050.
