The chart illustrates the information about British people’s contribution to charity based on their ages in two different years 1990 and 2010. Overall, people gave more charity in 1990 as compared to 2010. However, people aged 36-65 gave more charity then other age groups. People aged 18-25 were least to donate money. In 1990, people with age group 18 to 25 years donated less among all, 17%. From here, the percentage increased notably. People aged 26 to 35 years donated almost double, 31% and people aged 36 to 50 years gave maximum charity among all age groups. A slight decline shown with age group 51-65 and over 65 years, 35% and 32% respectively. In 2010, people with age group 18-50 donated less as compared to 1990 while others increased their donations in 2010.
