The given chart depicts the demographics of the urban and rural of the world between 1950 and 2030. Overall, while the total number of the world population and urban citizens were increasing continuously and is predicted to reach the peak in the next 10 years, the rural population is forecast to have a significant downward trend in the future. In 2020, the total population has risen to around 7. 5 billion people which almost three times as high as the figures in 1950 just nearly 2. 5 billion. Besides, from 2020 to 2030, the world population is expected to slightly increase with the most incredible number of 8 billion. In the first year of the period, the population living in urban areas is four times as low as the population living in rural areas, nearly 0. 5 billion and 2 billion respectively.
