The chart below depicts the process of manufacturing newspapers which is called lithography. This linear man-made process consists of 6 stages, commencing with lifting solid papers and ending with drying the printed ones. These consecutive steps will be described in details in the following paragraphs.
First, the unprinted papers are pulled upwards by the help of some cylindrical objects turning. Second, they are transferred into a special part containing the mixture of water and some chemicals. Then, those papers are sent to the next step in order to be provided with ink. After that, the printed papers are put in between 2 other rollers to be pressed so that the ink will be absorbed better. Finally, the imaged papers are out, getting dried with hot and cold air, ready to be picked up.
All In all, the lithography method that is demonstrated here is used for producing newspapers. This machine passes 6 different stages and in the end provides us with some printed pages.
