The chart below shows the percentage of people who own a house or rent a house between the age of 25-34 in UK. In general, the number of people who have houses are always higher than people who rent houses until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, most people prefer renting a house to owning a house. The vertical axis describes the percentage and the horizontal axis shows the years (from 2004 to 2014). The green bars present for the renters and the other one presents for home owners. The number of people who have houses in 2004 reach the highest percentage in 10 years, up to about 59%, then its stable to 2007 and have a slight decrease from 2007 to 2014 (down to 36%). Due to the decrease in percentage of people owning houses, the percentage of people who rent houses increase modestly. From 20% (in 2004 and is the lowest of 10 years) to 47% (2014 and is the highest of 10 years) In conclusion, the number of people who own a house have tend to go down through years but the number of people who rent a house is going up.
