The above illustrated line chart provides details of various transportation medium opted by kids aging between 5-12 to round off their trips from school to home during year 1990 and 2010. There were plenty of options including cars, walking, cycling and obviously public transport, although the estimation is done annually of millions of students. Overall there is an sore increase in walking during 1990 whereas it dropped to half of its value in 2010, it dropped almost from 12 to 6. On contrast, car travelling was not famous during 1990 which was just about 4 million trips per year while it had a tremendous growth during 2010. It rose just double of its initial period Cycling and bus were almost similar during initial time being of around 6-6. 5 but students preferring cycling dropped to a mere number of 2. The bus travelling was still a choice for majority of elementary schools kid even in 2010.
