The chart compares languages spoken by students of Roslindale High School during 2005 and 2015. Across the board, more students have been reporting speaking English, year-over-year, than any other languages. The share of English-speaking students was relatively higher than any language speakers between the period, accounting for approximately half of the total. Thereafter, Spanish was the second most dominating language, followed by Chinese and other languages over the time span. It was found that between 2005 and 2015, Spanish speakers had increased significantly from 20% in 2005 to 35% in 2015.
