The given line graphs compare the information about three different criminal numbers in the city during 2003 to 2012. As an overall trend, it can be noticeable that from year 2003 and in the middle of year 2006, burglary had taken the highest rates, while the trend had been reversed from year 2007 make car theft become the greatest factor in causing criminal. In year 2003, the number of burglary was just under 3500 cases, followed by car theft and robbery with approximately 2800 and 700 incidents respectively. The burglary trend had increased and reached it’s peak in year 2004 before it significantly dropped to 2200 incidents in year 2006. In the meantime, the rest 2 types had remained almost stable until year 2005, which there was a reduction of car theft number for 500 cases reaching the same rate with the burglary in year 2006. From year 2006, the contrast can be discovered since car theft rates had continuously grown and reached the level of 2750 in year 2012, whereas burglary trend went down considerably and reached 1200 numbers before it gradually increased and remained stable at around 1400 cases. However, the robbery trend had gradually fluctuated and remained steady along the period.
